SCIENCE THROUGH DISCOVERY

Ages:  9 - 11

Class size:  10 - 12

Materials fee:  $40 (one-time fee) to cover supplies for experiments and building projects.

Tuition:  $35 per month

Supplies needed:  Pencils, a shirt to be kept in the students’ backpacks to protect their clothing.

COURSE DETAILS: The purpose of this class is to discover scientific principles through hands-on activities.  Students will conduct a variety of experiments and building projects and explore the science behind them.  Some of the activities will include making plastic from milk, making a hot air balloon, copper plating coins, making a rocket balloon, and making a pulley system.
